Snow!

Last weekend we headed East through the Snoqualmie Pass in search of a fun winter weekend in the snow. Oddly enough for this time of year, there was no snow to be found except on the highest mountain peaks and it was a gorgeous 65* sunny weekend. We kinda felt like we were staying at the Inn on the set of White Christmas.

No horse drawn sleigh rides in our neighborhood this weekend, but we did get to introduce Colden to his first snow! This picture was taken yesterday evening... we woke up to 2 or so inches of snow and icy roads and decided that we better stay home today!

Crunchin' with Colden

Cole's recent addition to his physical repertoire is ab crunches, and it absolutely cracks us up. I don't know if he is getting self-conscious about being in the 95th percentile for weight or had a conversation with Nancy, but something got him on this baby workout kick. It is quite funny to watch, and he has figured out how to grab onto the sides of his bouncer and pull himself up even further. Amy and I managed to catch it on video last night...

My First Gingerbread House

On Wednesday, I decorated my first Gingerbread House. Sara got Laurel and I a kit and we all decorated away. We had a wonderful time decorating and chatting. While this was my first gingerbread project, I've had a little experience with the decorating tools from back in the cake-making days... Sara, on the other hand, was just a natural without prior experience ;)

Here is a picture of our little gingerbread neighborhood! So cute! I can't wait to decorate another one next year!

Colden and Friends

Daddy and Cole spent a few moments today in the studio putting together this little gem. Cole was ready to record the music video for his debut single, but I convinced him that he should wait until after the buzz of Britney's new album wears off...also gives us a few more weeks to perfect the dance moves for the video. Might need Lydia to teach a little pelvic thrusting ;-)

3 Months...

Cole is 3 months old today, December 2nd. We are having such a fun time together and are excited to share the next full month of Cole's life full-time with Jeremy. He is on daddy leave (Microsoft ROCKS!) until the beginning of January.

Milestones this month:

  • Laughing... as in a giggle, mostly laughing at mommy!
  • Sucking his thumb
  • Favorite Song: "If You're Happy and You Know It"

We don't have a weigh-in this month at the Doctor's office, but I'm guessing Cole is at least 15 pounds and he is growing out of his clothes so fast! While its sad to see him outgrow a few of my favorites, he has some cute clothes to grow into as well ;)
