A Day with the Days

We consider it a special treat when we get to hang out with the Days since it never seems easy to coordinate schedules ;) We ate some fanatastic blueberry muffins that Gabe made while we caught up. Then Izzy woke up and the real fun began (no offense Gabe)!

Izzy is a year old now and Cole LOVED her! As soon as I set Cole on the ground to play with Izzy and Grace, he started babbling and had a huge smile on his face. She was a little shy at first, but very sweet with him. Grace, who is 4 (I think), was very concerned about Cole drooling on the pink ball that they were playing with... ha! Liz explained that the ball gets in the mud and grass outside and they just wash it off... a little baby drool won't hurt. Funny!

I haven't really seen Cole as excited with other kids as he was today... it was so cute! Thanks for having us over Liz & Gabe!

Yummm!

Coden is eating cereal! For the past 4 weeks or more, he has been eyeing everything that goes into our mouths and anything he can get his hands on goes into his mouth. So, I decided that it was time to start cereal.

He likes his highchair and didn’t hesitate to try and help get the spoon to his mouth… he absolutely loves it!

Little Monkey

Colden found his feet this last week... he is constantly grabbing them when sitting or laying on his back.

I had to share this cute video so that you can see how happy this baby is! We are having so much fun together.

Cole's on a Roll

Cole's first roll was a few weeks ago... Jan 16th, but Mommy didn't have any luck capturing it on video.

I think EJ must have inspired him today! Daddy was finally able to catch Cole rolling today. Cole did a few warm up rolls in time for Daddy to get the camara and catch this one on film. Watch out turtle mobile...Cole's going to roll over and talk to you all by himself now!!

Five Months...

Today is Colden's 5 month birthday and to celebrate we had a coffee date with Jen at Cafe Ladro. We both ordered our usual... tall cappuccino for me, hot water in a latte mug (to warm a bottle) for Cole :)

I can't give you any specific stats this month, but can confirm that he is taller and heavier than last time! He is also cuter (if that is even possible!). He has a new favorite song... thanks to Daddy teaching me the words... "I've Been Working on the Railroad". He especially likes when I forget some of the words and add in an extra 'chugga chugga choo choo'. His favorite toy is his walker and he is getting faster by the day. He doubled his speed from Saturday to Sunday and then again today. When he gets around the kitchen island and can see me, he gets super excited! I'm in heaven with him!
